WHAT WE DO

The definition of a Ferry Flight is to move an aircraft from one location to another, mainly for the purposes of painting, storage, maintenance, delivery to Lessor or Lessee, also known as aircraft transitions and aircraft redelivery.

On these Ferry Flights only essential crew are authorised to be on board, the Pilots and in some cases the Engineers.

The Ferry Flights are usually not on an AOC (Aircraft Operators Certificate), instead ferried on a Permit to Fly.

Vanguard Air Services provides Ferry Flight Services on a wide variety of Commercial Aircraft types that includes all models of Airbus, ATR, Boeing, Bombardier, De Havilland, Embraer and Fokker.

Customers often comprise of Airline Start-ups, Lessors, Banks and MROs (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) facilities worldwide.

We take care of all the logistics associated with a Ferry Flight including; Crewing, Planning, Routing, Fuel-uplift, Nav Databases and Ground Handling Services.

We Ferry aircraft on registrations such as EASA, UK CAA, FAA, Guernsey (2-REG), Isle of Man, Cayman, San Marino and Aruba.
